CEREMONY SNAP SHOT + FLOW
CEREMONY FLOW
*** LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Below is a guide on what to expect for the ceremony flow on your wedding day.
*Housekeeping before the ceremony begins if you have guests. Things such as switching phones to silent and reminding them to be present, asking guests not to post pics of you both to social media, ensuring they keep the aisle clear, and I always give them permission and encourage them to laugh, clap, cheer, cry and most importantly - relax and enjoy!!!
Music is played when I know you’re ready to enter and things can get underway.
*Processional/Entrance when the Parties make their way into the ceremony space.
*Welcome & Introduction
*Love story Time(Written and personalised from your questionnaire answers)
Monitum** (legal wording I must use in order for your marriage to be legally binding)
*The Asking - That traditional ‘I Do’ moment
*Ring exchange (I talk you both through this every step of the way, rings are popped on while you say ‘I DO’)
*Personal Vows (optional, see my Vow Writing Tips page for some examples)
Legal Vows ** (Your full names are used here & printed in your vow cards or you repeat after me)
*The Declaration (I can now declare you MARRIED!)
*Kiss - GRAND FINALE!!!! Try and keep the lips locked for a few seconds, or go in for a few little pecks if that is more your style, so Rowan can capture it perfectly.
*Signing of the Legal Documents ** (3 legal documents are signed here) Music is played during this part to avoid doing it in silent awkwardness with your guests watching on.
*YOU’RE MARRIED!!!
Music is played here and Rowan will direct you next for photos!
